Dr. Heather Bacon Ph.D.

Licensed Psychologist

Heather A. Bacon, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist in the state of Oregon. She is a member of the Oregon Psychological Association and American Psychological Association.

 Dr. Bacon was born and raised in the Seattle area.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Willamette University in Salem.  She went on to earn her Master’s in Education at Pacific University and doctoral degree from Walden University. She completed her doctoral internship at Adventist Medical Center in Portland and postdoctoral residency at Psychological Services of Pendleton, LLC. She has worked in inpatient and outpatient mental health, and taught special education in Pendleton and Beaverton school districts.  It was during her moments in the classroom that Dr. Bacon became focused on mental health needs and was inspired to help children and parents work through these challenges.

She maintains a diverse caseload covering all ages of individuals, families, and groups. She specializes in treatment of childhood disorders and families in conflict. She enjoys the challenges children and adolescents bring to her office and understands the strife parents, teachers, and caregivers endure when faced with these challenges every day.

She enjoys all things outdoors in her free time. She also volunteers her time coaching youth basketball.
